Facade element
Facade elements are industrially produced solid walls that are characterised by a wide variety of surfaces of high-quality design. The range is enormous, extending from traditional exposed aggregate concrete surfaces, to brick and matrix structures and marbled surfaces.
Often, several types of concrete are used. All the reinforcing for structural stiffness is inbuilt in that the factory, depending on the final purpose. Very often, facade elements are used as curtain-type (non-load-bearing) precast concrete parts.
